Went to Cornish on Mill and walked around. There was tons of construction, and the smell was horrible, almost like diarrhea. The entire road was torn up, and I remember thinking that Mill Avenue had already had a lot of construction fairly recently. I'm not sure what they're doing now, since the rails are already there.

Walked past Matsuri, the Japanese place, and thought about it. Thought about Kalie too, and about when I went there with Luke years ago. The whole area smelled awful. We talked about homeless people and other negative things, and it was kind of a bummer. The conversation felt really negative, and it started pissing me off. I don't want anything to do with AI suggestions or anything like that right now.

I got the corn pasta, which was good. The bartender was kind of friendly. Picked up a Stella and a few beers, and that helped clear things up a little.

Then we walked over to the Mission Palms. There was a very intense clean smell in the lobby. I think it's a really nice hotel. There are a lot of palms there. We went up to the pool, and a guy told us the pool was locked, but of course it wasn't. We weren't really sure what we were doing, so we walked away.
